Happy Mother’s Day in Heaven to my Mom, Evelyn MACKAY. Even after all these years the memories are still strong!
Should have posted this on Wednesday, which was Kristen’s actual birthday. Happy, Happy Birthday, Stinny. My Warrior Princess!
FIRST kayak run of the season. Had some difficulty with the GPS double starting. The run from Manasquan River Park to going under the Route 70 bridge and back is around 7 to 8 miles. A bit ambitious for first time out as my
A beautiful full “Pink” moon last night at Sea Girt Beach. It is always a special event to watch a full moon rise out of the ocean.

Sunset at the 7 mile bridge from Marathon to Key West. Dinner: Sue’s shrimp and my filet mignon at the Sunset Grill. Waiting for my key lime pie!
Happy Birthday to my Dad, Bob MACKAY. He was born 112 years ago. Here he is in his Happy Place, in the cabin of his 26 foot Ulrichson Sea Skiff, the SanDon.
Happy Birthday in Heaven to my mother Evelyn MACKAY. 107 years today. She was a strong woman ahead of her time…marched to the beat of her own drum! Happy Birthday Mom.

Why a sane skier avoids Hunter Mountain on weekends and holidays!!!

A fantastic weather day at Hunter. Not a cloud, no wind, temperature in the 30’s, soft carving conditions, more trails open and a light skier traffic day. Nice to get back on the slopes after a week off.
It was great to spend the day skiing and having dinner with Knute Rockne Bowl Champion Al Avignone!

Day five skiing Bridger Bowl in Montana. Surfaces were pretty much skied out and scratchy. We found one area that was pretty good and carvable so we stayed there all day and had a good time.
Day two at Bridger Bowl Ski area in Montana. Good conditions with reasonably soft carving surface. Another fun day. Phil from Ohio joined Joe and I for a very nice day
Day three skiing Bridger Bowl In Montana. Beautiful day, blue skies, light wind, comfortable temperatures and not many skiers. Cranked out 14 runs over 28.44 miles. A very good day of skiing.
