I live in the Great Northwest on the Puget Sound just north of Seattle WA. I love everything NorthWest... "The Great North Woods"... between the Cascade Mountains and the Pacific Ocean. Seattle Seahawk fan! Go Hawks!!! After joining the US Coast Guard, I left Mississippi the end of summer after graduation in 78, Boot Camp in Alameda CA, on the San Francisco-Oakland Bay area, and later stationed in Seattle WA, Pier 36, Aboard the US Coast Guard Cutter Polar Sea (a 400 ft. Ice breaker). I served for 3yrs, and got to do a lot of traveling, which I love, visited quite a few different Countries, from the North Pole to the South Pole breaking ice alone the way, got all the initiations, becoming a Square Knot Sailor, haha!, getting to see a lot of the World!
