Ran into UK basketball player Terrance Jones at Keeneland today.
It has been said that an entire forest can "spring" from a single acorn. That being said, this little Sunflower better get a move on, if it wants to support next year's bird population :)

I'm beginning to think that the birds are adding sunflowers to the plant nightly!
Just realized that today marks the 42nd anniversary of the Navy scuttling the USS Blackfin (SS322), the submarine aboard which I served pent most of my active duty time shown here entering Pearl Harbor.
