Donald's Story

School The teachers that inspired me most were Fredica Brown, English Teacher and Richard Dorbritz, Band Director. I would not change anything, my school years were fantastic! Workplace After serving in the air force, 1962-66, worked at the YMCA as Aquatic director and coached the swim team, age group and high school teams.(1966-69) I changed jobs and moved on to the Red Cross and I spent 30 of my 33 years working in disaster services. naging disaster relief operations. My most recent memorable disaster was serving as director of the Pentagon operations during 9/11. I in Atlanta, 2531 Stonington Rd. Dunwoody Ga. 30338. I have recently retired form the Red Cross, (April 2005) as Regional Director of Disaster Response and Preparedness.. I am now doing consulting work for FEMA, Homeland Security, and Red Cross. I also teach Emergency Management curriculum, at a local community college in the Metro Atlanta area. Life is good!
