Life PERSONAL INFORMATION I was born in Perryville, MO on February 20, 1960. I met my wonderful wife, Susan, in Huntsville, AL, and married her on November 5, 1983. We have been blessed with three children: Donnie, 12/18/84; Amber, 6/8/86; and Stacey, 12/30/89. We enjoy watching movies together, and doing outside activities. I teach the children about the Lord as we proceed in life. I also cherish one-on-one time with each family member. I’m the Pastor of Southside Baptist Church. PERSONAL TESTIMONY Jesus Christ came into my life on Easter, 1974, when I received him as my Lord and Savior. I believe that all are sinners and owe a sin-debt. However, God came down in the person of Jesus Christ to pay for that debt. He died on the cross, was buried, and rose again. Eternal life is offered to all who would repent, confess Jesus as Lord, and believe that God has raised him from the dead. Now, I have a relationship with God that is based on the righteousness of Christ. I didn’t fully understand his Lordship over my life until I reached my mid-30’s. Since then, I have counted it as joy to obey and grow in the Lord daily. In August of 1998, I believed that God was speaking to my heart about serving him through vocational ministry. For the following year, my wife and I prayed about this calling. Through counsel of a few people and scripture, the desire became stronger. On September 9, 1999, we made a public commitment to follow the Lord in obedience to this call. In January 2000, we left for Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO where I have graduated. School Elementary: Knight and White in Wichita, KS. I also went to elementary school in St. Charles, MO, but can't remember the name now. Jr. High: Jefferson in St. Charles, MO. High: St. Charles in St. Charles, MO, and Shadow Mountain in Phoenix, AZ.
