Donna's Story
Hello my name was Donna Aber I moved to Oklahoma in 68 but oh my do I remember Oneida and all the fun I had growing up there. Black and white tv 4 stations, got up to change channles lol,you could ride your bike forever be home before dark. Doors left unlocked,keys for roller skates, iceskating at Vets Field, field days, clams and salt potatoes, the Teen house, Armory dances, Kallet theater, all day one price mt hope pool and the bathing caps, Gussies the Green Lantern HL Greens, and the soda fountians Campbell Dairy, half and half cookies and milk the penny candy store really a penny for candy you could buy it then sit on the steps and eat your treasures the dots on the long sheet candy necklaces etc. the hang out sto...Expand for more
re down from the Junior High another cancer, corner cancer corner at Senior High, cool cars, playing records at friends. stacking the 45s.lol,The falls, The Beach,The strip( up and down main street)We were all so cool, oh so much thanks for the memories Oneida. Moved to Oklahoma in 1968, finished school here, did alot of traveling on the road in the U.S. and Mexico back in the early 80's till 85. Had many wonderful experences. I was the manager of a club and restruant in downtown O.K.C for about 12 years,Got married in 1984 had a beautiful girl in 1987 had another beautiful girl in 1990. Got divorced in 1997. Best choice I made, no regrets.Smile. My girls are wornderful,21 and 18. Life is good to me. Take care to all
