Donna's Story
Life
I left work at Community Living Trent Highlands, having woked 36 years with that agency. I worked as front line staff in both group home & community settings. My final position was Tri County Life Share Coordinator. I now work for the Ontario Government as a caseworker for the Ontario Disability Support program. I am married to Dan Gilmour, and we have collectively 7 children, so I have 4 sons and 3 stepdaughters. I am living in Lindsay with one 16 year old son, Lucas, still at home. is 7 & 3 grandaughters, Eden, who was born March 2021, Everleigh born March 2022 & Aven born June 2023. Life flies by, and the kiddies grow up. I live for time with them. I love yoga & the outdoors. I still love to camp, but I upgraded to a permanent trailer and spend as much time as I can there in the summer. Having a 16 year old boy to run around after keeps me "young" (I keep telling myself that....lol). He is my travelling buddy and sidekick in adventures. My hobbies include kayaking and geocaching which works well with the camping!
