Donna's Story
Life
Divorced, two sons, one an industrial designer, Darius, the younger an Architect, Said Jon. Both own homes and live in Oakland, neither are married but have wonderful women in their lives, Alexa is Darius' significan other, Steph is Said Jon's. Retired in 2002, working as in interim for the company retired from. My mom passed away in 1999 and my brother in 2004. I have not other history in Butte any longer, except for nephews and great friends. Love to travel, Europe is high on the list, visited Italy for the third time in 2004, finally visited a place that has been a dream for awhile, New Orleans. What a great city in whic to vacation! Have a cat, she's getting old, like me, her name is annie, she is a persian mix. It has been so cold in the bay area, (don't laugh we had frost from early November till end of January--was down in the low 30's) which made annie have a coat that is hysterical--she looks like a little bear. Love doing Yoga and tai chi, walk every day for four miles --we do it in a little over 1 hour, take water color and drawing classes and LOVE retirement. Guess after working for 40 years any leisure time is great.

ncisco and worked for an architect firm, when if folded, went to work for a bank (wow what a change). Met great people and still have friends from that association. Married and stayed home for 6 years with children. Went back working for SBC, then got a call from Hughes Airwest. One of my favorite jobs--worked in the pass bureau issuing passes AND best of all being reciprocated for travel. That is when I really fell in love, with traveling!!--Hughes was bought out and moved. Worked part time, then was hired on at NARDA, an association for retailers. Again---they moved--they were determined to get me out of California, but I wasn't budging!!--Anyhow, then went to work for ACSA Association of California School Administrators. Learned more at that job that any I every had. Was in the process of a divorce so had to work three jobs to keep my family together. It finally started to come together, was promoted several times, it was close to where I lived, which is not an easy task in the bay area. Retired after 16 years with them as a project manager --- managing several professional development programs for school administrators. It was fun, crazy, a LOT of work and tons of hours, not great pay, but decent.
