Donna's Story
Life
In 1975 I married Terry Ennis. I attended two years at Dekalb College where I studied allied health sciences and was accepted into the school of dental hygiene. Terry then went back to school and graduated from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in 1985. During Terry's senior year of dental school, we had our first born son when I was 29 years old. We had always wanted 4 children,and considering our age we knew we had to get on with it. So, 18 months later we had our only daughter. Who knew we were so able when 13 months later came our third son. with our fourth. He came 17 months later. We've been humble ever since! God definitely has a sense of humor!! We now live in Columbus, Ga. Our oldest is now 19 and off at UGA and the baby is 15. Teenagers are definitely harder than babies!!
And me? I can talk with you about washers and dryers or driving a van loaded of smelly soccer players, or sitting up late nights for all to be home, or holding back car keys for disrespectful teenagers. But most of all, I can share about the blessings from pouring out my life into those I love. I must say however, it is right that they should grow up and move away. It will be right when again it's just Terry and me. Aren't the golden rewards to come in the next chapter?
