Donna's Story
Life
While teaching school in Long Beach California, I met and married my husband, Bill. We were married in 1965 and have one son. two grandsons and one granddaughter.
We moved to Anchorage, Alaska soon after our marriage and remained there until we retired in 1990. Bill was a commerical pilot and I taught Special Ed. (Deaf and Learning Disabled)
After retirement, we moved to Montana where we "played cowboys" for several years. We then traveled around the country for a year in a motorhome.(Lots of fun!)

nta Fe area, for several years before moving back to California, this time in the northern Sierra foothills. Our son and family are still in Alaska, so we make our way back there as often as possible. (I need my "granny fix" at least every six months.)
We have certainly not let any grass grow under our feet and we have made some wonderful friends around the country.
Life is good.
School
After graduation from high school I went on to Illinois State University in Normal, IL. I continued post graduate work at UCLA and the University of Alaska.
