Donna's Story

This is going to be really quick this morning, AND i WILL COME BACK LATER AND EDIT AND ADD TOO, OR TAKE OFF. I've just been wanting to do this for some time, and never seem to have time. This is going to be about my schools and school years spent there. Second to Eighth grade was spent in Lamar Colorado. I graduated from Lamar Jr. High at 13 and moved to Wichita Kansas, where I attended Cathedral High School (St. Mary's), my Freshman and Sophomore years. We moved to Pickstown South Dakota, the summer I turned 16 and attended Pickstown High School for about 3 months (of my Junior year). This has always been my "School of Choice" .... the school was small, and absolutely great kids attending. I met my "first love" here, Francis Canfield, Although only 5 months of my life was spent there - it was good. I have been back for two Reunions so far. chool and during my Senior year there, I met and loved what I would call the "love of my life" - Butch Hudgens. While attending Long Beach City College, I worked at Robertshaw-Fulton Controls and met my "Life Love", Ray Coffield. We were married in 1957, and have two great kids ... My daughter Deena (DeDe) is now 51, the mother of 3 great boys, (one married with a year old daughter - my great-granddaughter Molly Kate). My son Ray is 49, never married and is employed at the Guntersville State Park, and has been there 30 years in March. My husband passed away in 1996 after being married 39 years . I have really had a good life, and am and have been a happy person. I love life, and I love the ability to contact people from the past like this. My only problem is that I never have enough time. I have never had a bored minute in my life, and I've never had time to look for something to do. OK - now ... you tell your story, and I will come back and read it. Love, Donna
