Donna's Story
Life
Life is good. Busy, but good.
School
High school was... I think maybe I should leave that blank. At the time, I was just going through the motions. It was only afterwards that I realized how much I hated high school. You couldn't pay me enough money to relive it! I must say it has been since then that I've come to "find myself". The person that I was then was not the real me. I'm glad I've come to a place in my life where I can say I am happy with who I am and with the life I'm living. High school sucked. I'm just glad it's over and glad the hands of time can't be turned back!
College
I'd call them the best years of my life...until recently. I met some really great people, some of whom are my best friends now. College was, for me,....wonderful! I wouldn't trade it for the world. And even ...Expand for more
though I spent a lot of years in college (8) I walked away with two degrees, a handful of wonderful friends, and great experiences to treasure in my memories forever.
Workplace
In my mind I am a writer...always have been....poetry, fiction, essays. I held the usual "college" jobs (those on campus things that pay minimal wage). When I graduated with my master's in audiology...I became an audiologist. I love my job, especially when the work setting is right. I currently work in an ENT physician's office. But even though I love my job, writing is my true love. If I thought that I could pay the bills with my writing, I'd prefer to do that. But as for something that pays the bills, I'm glad I found a career that I can enjoy. Maybe someday my name will be in print. But for now, I'll just be happy where I am.
