Wow. After High School I went on to become a Piano performance major at Saint Xavier University where I graduated in 1984. I also took some post-grad courses in Pedagogy and Music History, as well as a few other "supplemental" courses, but ended up working back at SXU for about 15 years. I got married to my HS sweetie Brian Meyer in 1986, and we had four boys. Our first, Christopher, was born in January of 1990, and died when he was six weeks old from complications stemming from meningitis. Three years later we had twins (Nicholas and Andrew), and a year and a half after that, we had Patrick. Patrick is Autistic, so you can often find me "waving the cure autism" banner. After I left SXU I began working as a private piano instructor at Southwest Music Center in Oak Lawn, where I have an average of about 50 students per week.
