Donna's Story
Life
After high school, I worked as a secretary up to and including marriage and periodically while having four children. This, while living in Oklahoma, California and back to Colorado. Then, divorce in 1972. Oh well, such is life. I was a single mom while my kids were growing up (do they ever...I guess so, I did). Then in 1980, I met my husband, Lyle, while skiing with my ski club (The Foxes & Hounds, good name for our group). We married and I inherited an additional two daughters who are just a few years younger than mine. Now, we have a combined 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Quite a gathering at Christmas. KOA campground in Garden City, Kansas. We sold it in 1998 and bought another KOA in Springfield, Missouri, which we just recently sold this last February (2004). Retirement is great!!! Just returned from a five week RV trip to the northeast. We currently live lakeside at Table Rock Lake just west of Branson, Missouri, but plan to sell and move back up to Springfield as most of our friends and church are there. All our kids/grandkids/great-grandkids live in Colorado, so we visit a few times a year. Well, that's it in a nut-shell.
We have sold our lake house and have bought a home in Springfield, Missouri and will be moving there the end of September, 2005. Will have a new email address then.
