Donna's Story
I don't really quite know what to say. I was married for 23 years, but am now divorced. I have two children. My daughter is 19 and my son is 9. Yes, they are 10 years apart. I submit my children as living testimony that God has a twisted sense of humor at times. I have moved a good bit over the years - we have lived in Greenwood,SC; Albany, GA; Pelham, GA; Augusta, GA; Montreat, NC; and we now live in Leesburg, GA. I have alternated between being a classroom teacher and fulltime mom. I currently teach math at Lee County Middle School. o catch up with people with whom I have lost touch over the years. As I have more time, I will come back and update. For now, look me up. I would love to get together with old friends.
My life has changed a lot over the last couple years since I wrote the above paragraph. I now teach math at a juvenile residential facility in Cochran, GA. It is quite rewarding to try to help youth make positive life changes and choices. It is also heartbreaking to realize the road that some of these youth have traveled. For now, this seems to be where God wants me.
