Donna Lee's Story
I would like to be remembered as Donna not as "Dorice's sister". Since she was the more popular one that was usually the way would remember me. I also hope that my old friends remember me as caring and loyal.
I live on Black River in Georgetown, SC. So if I have a bad day at work I go for a swim, sit on the dock or throw in a pole while listenining to music. I also quilt, quill, bake, and some garment sewing for relaxation.
I moved from NJ to PA. I actually finished my Nursing degree when i lived in PA. I went to Binghamton U and Syracuse U. I moved back to NJ because I lived in the middle of nowhere and it was lonely. I missed my family and friends. I moved from NJ to SC after having a second home there. I found myself drawn to being on the water and the long warm season. While I still miss my family and friends I do get a lot of visits because I am not far from Myrtle Beach. The more company I have the better. I have never ...Expand for more
felt at home anywhere as I do here. My Dad, sister and other relatives live within 20 - 30 minutes as well.
My favorite TV watching is anything with forensics, True crime of any kind.
So you think you can dance is never erased from my DVR.
I am a foster mother of 2 boys. One is deaf and the other has dystonia. They are now 7 and 11. It was hard in the beginning because their behavioral issues were monumental. I have learned from them as well as from my son and grands that there is nothing more important in life than unconditional love. If you don't have love in your life, it is worthless.
I still work st the same place I started when I moved here. Georgetown Active Day. It is an adult day care center. My clients range from 21 through 96. The only change is that we are now called Directors instead of Administrators. Even though it can be emotional at times I never tire of going to work. I truly love what I do. love my job
