Donna's Story
After high school, I attended Peabody, where, as a freshman, I met my husband, Harold, then a senior at Belmont. After I graduated in 1970, we married and moved to Denver Colorado while he completed his last 2 yrs with the Air Force.
After Denver, we moved back to Nashville and then to Bowling Green, KY when Harold took a job with Proctor & Gamble. We purchased a farm and raised/showed registered Paint horses. I taught school in KY for 10 years, and later was a Paralegal with a Bowling...Expand for more
Green law firm. In 1994, we moved to a farm in Brownsville which is 50 miles north of Memphis and so here we are along with 3 "retired" show horses and way too many cats.
As for life in a small town, there's not much to do except watch grass grow & stop lights change. I go to the gym and yoga 3 mornings a week, and afterwards meet friends for coffee and gossip. I've become an online addict of "ancestry.com" and "Real Racing 3" an online auto racing game! Who'd have thunk that one!?
