Donna's Story
LifeJanuary 2008- Happy New Year! Hello to everyone- I still live between Wayx and Blackshear on the highway. We still have 14 or 16 horses- I can't keep up. My husband takes care of those. "I" have 11 cats. I still work for Ware County Schools, testing mostly preschoolers. I'm also assigned to do all of Bacon County and the Magnet School, which serves K through 12. Emily is graduating this year from Magnet and plans to attend ABAC next year. I am still working on my dissertation in Education in Curriculum and Instructional Technology. My focus is still on minorities, but I'm delving into Response to Intervention or RTI, now. My middle child, Caroline, is 13, at the Magnet School and is in 8th grade. My baby ...Expand for more
is at Center Ele in 5th grade. She is 11. They are all pretty good kids, but I must say, that parenting is the hardest thing I have ever done!  I hope all of you are doing well and are leading happy lives! I am thankful for my current good health. My dad has Alzheimer's now. He is in the "then" photo, which is actually a recent photo of me along with all of my siblings and their children at Christmas this past year. All of get together here at the house every year the 1st Saturday after Christmas. Any of you are welcome to drop by one of those afternoons and have some coffee and cake with us. We survived the Wildfires of 2007, and right now we are surviving some pretty cold weather- at least for south GA, that is!
