Donna's Story
Life
My husband and I moved to Jacksonville, FL a little over three years ago and we love it here.
My daughter (child of Jay Kirby) is grown and still lives in Monroe. She is a teacher and I am very proud of her.
My parents have passed away and the only reason I come back to Monroe is to visit my brother, Thomas and family; my daughter- Kimberly and family and my friend Dorothy. My brother will probably never leave Louisiana.
School
My biggest crush was Jay Kirby. We ended up getting married and having one daughter. Jay passed away when she was 16.
College
I worked on my education in stages. I received an Associate of Science Degree in Business Administration from Macon State College in Macon, GA; a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Leadership from Mercer University in Atlanta, GA, and an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies from Florida State College in Jacksonville, FL.

ackaging. I am a Paralegal, Florida Registered Paralegal and recently achieved certification as a Certified Paralegal with National Association of Legal Assistants, Inc.
Relaxing
My favorite way to relax is going to the movies. It is a good way to get your mind off of stuff that bugs you. I also enjoy relaxing at the beach, walking along the shoreline, and listening to the waves crashing into the shore.
Inspiration
Hmm, inspiration. My drive to achieve really seems innate - my Mother and my Father told me to work hard and get my education. My Grandmother taught me about spiritual strength. My daughter - Kimberly taught me how to love!
Oldest Friend
My oldest friend is Dorothy Cranford Duchesne. We met in the 2nd Grade at Swartz Elementary and just seemed to understand each other. We have had our ups and downs but over the years have stayed in touch and when we get to see each other - it is as though we have never left. That is a good friend!
