Donna's Story
On July 16th, 2008, I had major back surgery and was pretty confined for about 6 weeks. I am now making a good recovery but still have some stiffness and soreness in the lower back which is normal and will eventually go away.
I am now in the process of creating a website for the class of 1952 at West High, Columbus. My husband, Jim, suffered a stroke on June 30, 2005 and he, too, is making a good recovery although he still has some speech difficulty when he gets tired.

have 3 grandchildren, the boys are now 31 and 33, and our granddaughter will celebrate her 14th birthday on Nov. 21. We also have 3 great-grandchildren, ages 15, 10 and 8. Boy are we getting old!!
Jim and I both retired in 1998. I worked at National City Bank in the Trust Dept for 15 years and Jim has always worked in the automotive parts industry.
We moved into a condo after his stroke because taking care of a house and yard was getting to be to much for both of us. I missed my home of 25 years but after 2 years in the condo I now feel at home here and really like the people and activities.
