Donna's Story
Life
Since my last life bio I did I have been blessed with an addition to my family of a grandson October 11, 2003. It is my son Larry's son and his name is Chester Lee Davis. Larry named him after my dad. Dad passed away March 2002. We all miss him dearly and I feel he would be so proud. I have also finish my associates degree in Healthcare Information Tech. and am now working at Childrens Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. I love my new work. Being able to help all the children is so rewarding. I am still a member of the Carpenter Union and hold an office for the time being. When I get ready to retire I will give the position of Treasurer up.I have been Treasurer for 6 yrs. I still live in Trotwood, Ohio but plan in the near future to move back to Farmersville or Germantown because of the two grandchildren that are going to school there. Amy, my granddaughter, is a cheerleader for the pee wee football and is in basketball now. John and I need to be closer because it is to far to drive back and forth several times a week for games, but we love every minute of it.
My mom has moved up to Ohio after dad passed away and is having a hard time adjusting to the weather. It is so nice to be able to just go and see her anytime we want.

Well it has been a long time since I added to this but I have been very busy. I spend alot of time with my grandchildren and sons. I retired from the Carpenters this year (2007). I granduated from Miami Jacobs Career College in 2002 with an associates in Healthcare Information Technology. I am presently working at Orthopaedic Center for Spine and Pediatric Care at Dayton Childrens Medical Center. I really enjoy working with children. John and I still live in Trotwood but hope to move in near future back to Farmersville. Amy is in the 7th Grade at ValleyView and Chet is 4 now and will go to preschool next year. He is his dad made over. I told Larry paybacks are h---. Layne is still not married. He seems to like the batchelor life. He lives in Miamisburg by the Dayton Mall.
College
When I first started classes I was so nerveous because I had not attended school of any kind for about 10 years. I was real surprised that I obtained honors throughout my time at school. It was alittle harder than when I was younger but got through it anyway. I am now working at Childrens Medical Centere in the Orthopaedics Center, which is a private office inside Childrens, at a Medical Office Specialist. I enjoy my job and especially working with kids.
