Life
Hi, all! I left Holy Rosary in 1979 and that fall went into U of L's Expanded Duty Dental Assisting program downtown at the Dental school. Graduated from there in July of 1980 and started working for a dentist in August of 1980. Was married in November 1984 and continued working in that same dental office until 1987 at which time I went to JCC for their Associate Degree Nursing Program. Graduated in 1990 and worked as an RN at Audubon Hospital in the Diabetic Unit and then went to Charter Hospital. I had four children and decided to become a full tim...Expand for more
e Mother. I have one daughter and three sons. Their ages are 18, 16, 14, and 9. Last summer I decided since all my children were now in school, I would go back to work. I was all prepared to go back to Nursing when a dentist that used to work in the same office that I did in the early '80's called me and asked if I would be interested in working for him. So there I am. Working for a dentist again!!! Funny how we think we know where we are going and God slips in a "U" turn. I will always keep my nursing license up as I worked way to hard to let that go!!
