Donna's Story

I went to Messick in 1st and 2nd grade 1962 & 1963, we moved and I started going to Grandview Elem. School in Memphis, TN. from 1964-1968. I went to Trezevant High School from 7th grade in 1969 - 11th grade in 1973. Due to Bussing which they wanted me to go to a strange school across town in a bad neighborhood, my senior year, a few of us decided to go to night school and finish since we only needed a few extra credits to graduate and we would be able to get a diploma from the school we went to originall...Expand for more
y. So I did that and went to Frazier night school to do Sr. English and Sr. American history and office practice and I was finished and got a diploma from Trezevant High School. But I feel I missed out on going to my Sr. year with some of the nicest people that I really cared about. It like to broke my heart that I wasn't able to go to Trezevant my Sr. year but I had enough of my closest friends to go to Frazier night school that it was pretty fun to go to school at night and do things during the day.
