Life
I just found this classmate service and noticed that so many people that I remember are on it. "Hi" to everyone and I hope to hear from you all. I left Pgh. shortly after graduation and moved to New York to try my luck at a modeling career. I have to say I did very well in magazines, catalogs, TV commercials, and even movies. I was lucky to meet my future husband who was also in the business and we married in 1965 and moved to Brewster, N.Y. We have two children- a boy (35) about to be married and a girl (33)with significant other. My Dad passed away in 97 leaving my mom alone in our big beautiful house on Callowhill St. She has since sold it and moved into an Independant Living Facility in Verona, Pa. My sister Terry still lives in the area. I recently retired from Lancome/Filenes which now gives me time to explore the internet and find things like this. In case any of you did not know this...my best friend through Fulton Elementary and Peabody- Sandy Levosky, died from colon cancer a few years ago. She was married with one...Expand for more
son and living in Chicago. I flew there to speak at her funeral and it broke my heart. I miss her so often and wish I could pick up the phone and I still see her mom and sister when we go back to visit with my family. Unfortunately, I missed the last reunion (50th birthday party) because we had a wedding that same day in N.Y. and there was no way I could do both but I ordered the video and really enjoyed that. When are we having another? We are all around 62ish....isn't it time again? I know it is a lot of work for whoever organizes it but I would be willing to do whatever I could to help from here. I got into a Peabody H.S. message board a while back and saw the names of teachers from Fulton and Peabody that I had not heard in yrs. For some reason I cannot find that message board again because people were asking questions about the schools, neighborhood and students that I had answers to but now I can't find it again. I would love to hear from anyone from the "Good Old Days". Love to you all...Donna Paschka (Anderson)
