Donna's Story
In 1972 I received my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from DePaul University
Married in 1975 to William C. Kachlic
Moved to Tyler, Texas in 1981
My oldest daughter Colleen was born there in 1982 Her sister Lara was born two years later.
We moved to Lindale, TX in 1986 where the girls grew up and attended school.
In 1995 I graduated with a Master of Arts from University of Texas at Tyler.
Worked as a vocational assessor, work adjustment specialist, and rehabilitation ...Expand for more
counselor for the blind over a ten year time frame.
Worked another 12 years with economically disadvantaged, single parents and first generation community college students. Finally retired from The University of Texas at Tyler after serving as the Disability Services Case manager for six years.
Having lost my first husband, I reconnected with a college classmate, Dave DeBoo who I married last Saturday, October 12, 2013. We will continue living in Lindale for now.
