Donna's Story

Life I moved to Houston, Tx in 1983. I had two more daughters, bringing the total to 3 wonderful girls. My oldest daughter now has two children of her own, so I'm a grandma! I am now working for Union Pacific Railroad as a Diesel Mechanic, and have been with them for 13 years. Update 3/09/07 All three girls are now married. My youngest, Becky, is pregnant with number 3. She has a 2yr. old girl and a 1yr. old boy, with another boy due in August. My middle daughter, Andrea, got married in Jan. and is trying for a baby, so she can catch up with her sisters. My oldest, Trina, is in school at Sam Houston University in Huntsville, TX., finishing her second year with a 3.6 grade point average.!!! Her kids are doing good. My oldest granddaughter will be 10 in April, she is in a special choir, picked from all the elementery schools in the Conroe school district. She has her grandma's talent! heifer in the Montgomery county fair the end of March. My oldest grandson (8 yrs old) is playing baseball and scoccer, and is a straight A student! Work is still good, I have been with UP Railroad for 16 yrs. now, and am a supervisor in the Diesel shop. Married life is GREAT, my husband of 6 yrs. is back to work, driving over-the-road tanker truck. His hepitius did not go into remission, but we are taking it one day at a time, and with the Lord's help, he will be around for awhile longer. update 8/16/07. Grandbaby number 6 is here, check out the announcement!! Will post pic. soon. Mark and I are both laid up. I had neck surgery July 11th and will be off work for 6 months. Mark had a major heart attack August 1st. We don't know yet if he will be able to return to work. We take it day by day, and enjoy being with each other. Will try to make it up to Morrison around the 9th of Sept. for the family reunion.
