Life As I get older, I find it to be more important to reaquaint myself with old friends. We moved around a lot when I was in school and some of you might remember that I was quite shy when you knew me. I'm not so shy anymore! :) I'd love to talk to you and see how you are all doing. Write me when you get a chance. _________________________ My After-Graduation Life (in a nut shell), or How I Got From There to Here After graduation, my stepfather decided that it would be good for me to go to Portland to a business college there. So, 10 days after we graduated, he packed up all my belongings and dropped me off at a women's boarding house in downtown Portland and drove away. I was petrified. I didn't go out of my room except to go to the bathroom and go to school for the first several months. (Do you remember how shy I was?) After awhile, I met some other "lost" girls and we got together and started going crazy. We did things that I cringe to think about today....but I survived. I got married when I was 20, had my first child when I was 21, my second when I was 23, and divorced when I was 24. Typical for that time. My husband was physically and mentally abusive.
