Donna's Story
I'm a wife, mother and grandmother. I'm 53 now almost 54. I've been married to my husband Jose for 30 years now.
We have 3 children. Danny and Paul and Katrina. The boys are 28 and Katrina is 26.
We have 2 grandsons. The eldest is Eric and he's almost 22 months. Blake is the youngest at almost 3 months.
I guess the biggest surprise in my life was when the doctor told me I was going to have twins.
I've only moved a few timesin my life. I moved once to Amarillo, Tx and that was because I got a promotion with my job when I was a manager of the movie theatre downtown (here in El Reno).
I think this wants me to update a little bit. Since I wrote this I've been on a vacation to Alabama and had a birthday. I went to Ala with my daughter and her 2 children so she could visit her best friend. The b.d, was God's idea.
My favorite way to blow off steam is to read. I've always loved to read and it relaxs me. I read before I go to sleep at night and at work before I clock in for the day.
This is new~~~~~I'm now 55 almost 56. I still have only 2 grandsons. They are now almost 4 and 2. I hope that friends remember me as someone who was friendly, overweight (I don't care because it's the truth)but also one who loved their family and friends. I wish that I was thinner but it's not going to happen.
I remember having fun on the old acreage that we used to live on. My mother raised hamsters. One of them kept getting out of her cage went across the yard and into the house. The funny thing is she would be found the next day in my mother s chest of drawers in her bedroom in the corner of her underwear and sock drawer. Everytime this hamster disappeared my mom would open that drawer and there that hamster would be.
I always wanted to be ...Expand for more
a ballerina when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a nutty idea. As it turns out, they were right.
If I won $100 million, I'd give 3/4 of it to the IRS, then spend the rest on charity, a home and furnishing for it. Then the rest of it put up..
Since I wrote all that I'm now 57 years old, still married to the same man almost 34 years. Grandmother to 3 grandsons. Eric is now 5 years old and will start school next week, Blake is 3 1/2 years old and we have a new one who is Ryan. He'll be 6 months old next Monday. I love them all and go see them a few times a week. Can't not see my grandsons!!
I still work for Wal-Mart going on 16 1/2 years. Still a cashier and still working 5 days a week. Some of you I see alot some not so much but as I get older it's important I find to connect and let your friends know you care. So I'm hoping that all of you have met the Lord as your Personal Lord and Saviour and that you'll be going to Heaven because it doesn't look like that time is far off. There's some that we didn't get a long in high school or really know each other but it's been 40t so let's just get over it and be friends. I'll always be fat and dumpy looking but I still have feeling and I've grown up. If you haven't then I'm sorry. We've lost alot of friends that I wish were still here but I'm hoping they're in a better place. Larry Wintermute is one that comes to mind, Carla Littero and I know there's alot more. I still miss Doug Gatz and he died my (our) junior year back in 1971!!! But antway, I don't know if anyone reads this I doubt it, I will try to keep it updated from time to time if there's really anything to say! Keep on plugging away though there are some of us who love you! Bye for now. Today is August 10, 2011.
