Donya's Story
Workplace
After 17 years of wait service and bartending, I decided to begin pursuing interests that I felt more passionate about. I decided that I'd like to work with animals in some way. In pursuit of this, I experienced a brief 2 year stint as a veterinary technician and decided that the veterinarians I worked for were extremely demanding and the hours unreasonable. Then I thought about dog training, which was great until I discovered that the trainer I was working with was also unreasonable and not recognized by any profession...Expand for more
al dog training organizations. So, I'm currently not working and have decided that staying at home with my animals is more fun than anything else. Since I got married, our lives have been exciting, but almost like a whirlwind and lots of projects in the house have been put on the backburner. I intend to still work with the dogs, work on our home, read, relax, and do art. It's been a rough ride all these years, but I feel extremely blessed that I can finally enjoy all the things I've always wanted to. I love my rocky mountain high!!!
