Doreen's Story
I moved to North Carolina in 2003 to get away from the high rent in Southern CA. I am pretty much a computer guru amongst my friends although my job at the moment is in the Debit Card Loss Management department of a major bank. I'm divorced, live with my two cats, and my 22 year old daughter, Heather lives nearby. I also have a 28 year old daughter who is still in southern CA. Systems at UNCC. I'm actually suprised that I am enjoying computer programming.
I miss Pasadena. People in Southern CA and people in NC are very different. My close friends are still in CA and I have to get a job in CA and move back. I miss it and all my friends sooooo much. And I'm going to be a grandma soon and want to be near my granbaby.
I recently visited CA for my daughter's wedding, and I realized how much I am loved there - all my loved ones (many friends) and there and none in NC. I gotta get back to my home.
