Dorene's Story
Life
Two years after graduating from Corcoran,I moved to Florida where I resided in several places along the east coast and attended college for fashion design and graphic arts. I spent 6 years there then moved to Atlanta where my son was born in 1984. I loved the weather in both states! But, so that my son could see his maternal grandparents and my other family members more than a couple of times a year, we moved back to Syracuse 2 months after he was born. and returned to school for occupational therapy. After spending 11 years in pediatric and geriatric occupational therapy, I returned to school last month so that I can return to the field of art (that I've been missing) with updated skills. I have a great son who is considering a career as a veterinarian or in international relations. And at 11 days past the NYC, Pittsburgh and DC tragedies, I'm hoping that the draft will not be reinstated, as most reports indicate that it won't be.
