Life
Good morning, my name is Dorinda L. Horton. I graduated from Bishop Lynch High School in 1986. I am currently working for the City of Dallas as an Office Assistant in Code Compliance. I have an Associate of Arts and Applied Sciences in Business Computer Information Systems from Eastfield College. I currently pursuing a Bachelors in the same field. I attended Texas Woman's University from 1989-1991.
I still pretty much look the same. I recently celebrated my 39th birthday(but if you were to see I would less than 30, whatever that's supposed to look like!) I share the same birthday with late Ray Charles and John Coltrane which is September 23rd. (Which would pretty much explains why I like music so much.) I consider myself to be "DIFFERENT"! I also consider myself to be a child of the 80's because basically that's the decade I grew up in. I turned 13 in 1980, 16 in 1983, 18 in 1985, and 21 in 1988! g woman at the time because of the serious look I had or because I didn't talk a lot. The truth is I was young woman who took life serious than most people did at the time. I am learning to relax and ''CHILL OUT''. I have learn to have a sense of humor since then and allow it to come out at certain points.
I love music! I sing in the choir at Progressive Baptist Church-East. When I was in high school, I had the privilege of singing on the talent show when I was a junior and senior in high school (dancing was not my thing.) I chose songs by male R&B vocalists because I could sing them better and clearer without my voice cracking! That and the fact that my voice was deep for a girl and even more now since I became an adult. Music makes me feel free and good about myself when I'm feeling down and depress.
