Doris's Story

Life Married Melvin Becker in 1943. We had 2 boys & 3 girls. He died February 5, 1985. i live alone & am able to take care of myself in spite of being 80 years old. I am active in my church & attend regularly. I am now 84, broke my hip but am able to get around. Workplace I worked at Superior Dairy during High School years. rs and worked in a retail store until I returned to Ann Arbor to live. I next worked at Michigan Bell for one year and was married in 1943 and moved to Santa Ana,CA. Started work outside the home in 1967. Went to work for Borders Book Shop in early seventies. Worked first as head cashier and then promoted to manager special order department. I retired in 1984.
