Doris's Story
At school I had several close associates as friends and acquaintances. I lost contact but will always consider as my friends. There is a lot I would like to say but at the moment not so much time. I will say this though briefly, I moved to Houston couple of mos. after graduation 4th of July to be exact. My big brother Harvey Irvin asked me if I wanted to come to stay with him in Houston. I accepted. I'm still there up to now and also here again in wonderful Bryan College Station sometimes as resident and still holding on to my job in Houston. I love it here in BryanCollege Station and will permanently be a full citizen here again soon giving thanks to God foremost. shed Real Estate School. During so, I accepted an early retirement from Shell Oil Co. after 22 years and went to work at ExxonMobile for 7 years. Now I currently work at one of the Marriott's establishment in Houston as the Night manager and Sr. Night Auditor. Since been there I'm into my 7th year and was awarded the 2007 presidential award which is the highest employee award can be held. I was extremely happy to accept the president's award in Summerlin, Nevada J.W. Marriot 14 miles from Las Vegas, Nevada and of course it was a wonderful trip for me and a guest. Did I say it was paid for. Yes, it was. So, that's some more of the many blessings I am so thankful for. Hope to see some of you soon and write your story as well. Peace and Love to everyone. DMIrvin
