Doris's Story
Life
I was born in Louisiana, raised in Alaska. Attended Fairview Elementary School, Central & Wendler Jr. High school and graduated from East High in 1977. I was shy & introverted until afer I graduated high school. Between my sister & brothers from East - I feel my sister Pat (for Patricia) Stevenson was the most popular sibling & very active in school sports and clubs.
I got married almost right out of high school. Was married for 13 yrs. before the divorce; lived in Hampton VA for about a yr. when husband was in Air Force.
I have a wonderful son, he's 20 years old graduated from East High in 2005. He was on the basketball team all 4 years and ...Expand for more
1 year on track team. Due to him playing basketball that got me back to attending East High games. I didn't mean "back" - I never attended BB games when I was at East.
I've been working the State of Alaska going on almost 25 years. Not with the same department, but started with Public Safety, then Fish & Game and now with Law.
My immediate family still lives in AK. I still love Alaska, have no pets. I have lot of nieces and nephews up here and 2 cousins from Texas.
I enjoy reading, going to movies, & watching movie rentals. Would like to take salsa classes and a type of martial arts. Like the sun and hiking.
