Doris's Story
Well after high shool I got married at the ripe age of 18. Then 3 years later got pregnant at ripe age of 21.So that was a turning point in my life as I had to re-think my ways and simmer down from being so crazy and care free and mellowed me out. Got divorced at 24 and re-married at the age of 32. We lived together though for 9 years first as I didn't want to rush in again, and my husband is my soul mate,and pampers me always. Got it like that! My daughter is a sophmore at St mary's and very smart and loves school ( totally not like mom) but I did well raising her and am very proud! I have been a factory worker since 18 years old...Expand for more
and was a machinist most of that time before going to A.M.General as I am present day still there and feel very fortunate for this job. I went back to school in 2004 and got my G.E.D better late than never.I have a very nice family now and my step-son has given me a grandson and now a grand-daughter too.I never left the west side and still like to do my bar hoppin out here and I always run into someone from back in the day of WHS.I like Fire Rock best. My husband and I enjoy riding on the Harley and camping too.The camper is our run away from the crazy west side.I will always have my roots here, I'm a native I guess.Go Panthers.
