Dorma's Story
Life
Having been a wallflower all my scholastic life, when I did "come into my own", I did so in a most adventurous manner. In 1972, my parents sent me to Belize in Central America, and after 3 months there(returning due to my father's illness and my brother's joining the Marines), I started college, began working part time, and plotting my return to the savannahs and mountains of Central America. Burning out on school and work in 1974, I returned to Belize, and spent 6 of the most memorable months of my life! Now, 35 year...Expand for more
s later, 33 spent in banking of some form or other, 4 downsizings, 2 marriages, 2 divorces, 3 sons, and 1 ex-daughter-in-law , I am still plotting my return to Belize, where I have a brother who owns a hotel there, and a ton of ex-in-laws! Just deleted an item on my "to-do" list! Spent two weeks at the end of October/November in Belize in 2003! Geez, that place has really changed!! I've delved back into my writing, and finished up a couple of stories I began writing when my boys were little. Looking for a publisher now.
