Dorothy's Story

Dropped out of St Joseph's College in 1952. Married, no children, returned to Montclair State College in 1967. Received my BA summa cum laude, and earned a magna for my masters. Taught French and Latin in New Jersey high schools in Westwood and Montclair. Took an early retirement and came to Florida with my husband Bill in 1994. We have 2 sassy Siamese cats, and are enjoying the"good life". I'm very active in my parish, heading up the lector and sacristan ministries. ways having a smile for everyone. Never belonged to any of the cliques - not popular enough. My big interests were French and Latin, at which I excelled. I qualified for medals in both at graduation, but was told I could only accept one, so I chose Latin. Not much for sthletics, but I helped organize and create the theme dong for our Freshman class participation in Sports Night. I composed our song "Dear St Angela, Here We Come" to the tune of "San Francisco, here we come. We came in as firemen carrying a big hose and wearing firemen's helmets. Does any of that sound familiar to anyone?
