Doug's Story
Life
After high school, went to Colorado State and majored in Forestry. Married, had 2 great kids and worked for the timber industry in Arkansas and South Dakota. Went to work for the US Forest Service in South Dakota and then Fire Management Officer for the Nebraska NF(bet you didn't know there was such a place) and...Expand for more
then an offer from the National Park Service to go to the regional office in omaha as the wildland fire specialist. Divorced after 22 years (my error)and moved back to the black hills of south dakota with the park service as the area fire manager for 7 national parks. that is all since 1973
