Doug's Story
Didn't get very far after high school, geographically speaking. We live about a mile from where I grew up in Tustin.
Married to Melanie Hamilton Davert (FHS 87), an elementary school teacher, for 12 years, and we have 2 daughters ages 6 and 8.
I am a partner in the Long Beach law firm I founded in 1992; I am a director with the Orange County Fire Authority, Chariman of the Board...Expand for more
of the Orange County Sanitation District, and am in my 6th year on the Tustin City Council. I am slated to begin my second term as Mayor of Tustin in December 2008.
We're very involved in the Tustin community, and our kids keep us on our toes with all their activities. They will attend Foothill in the classes of 2018 and 2020, respectively.
