Doug's Story
Joined the Navy after H.S. Served 8 1/2 years total, most of it based out of Florida. Trained as an Electronic Technician and was aboard the USS Tattnall (DDG-19) for 3 1/2 years before being stationed in Orlando. After a short stint working for a Simulation company I joined Disney. Met my wife, Karen, in Jacksonville in 1987 and we married in 1990. We have two boys, Joshua (1994) and Jeremy (1996).
Completed my B.S. in Electronics Management from SIU in 1994 (Professors came to Orlando to teach on the base) and am currently working on a M.B.A.
Enjoy the real Florida (not the tourist side) by fishing, hiking and camping.
