Hey there boys and girls....I have been meaning to update this site, but unfortunately haven't been checking it for some time. Anyway, since "it" requests that I update my life, I don't know where to begin...well, anyway for the sake of my Oconee County High School buddies...here goes...I grew up in Columbus and my dad retired from the Army at Ft. Benning when I was in the 9th grade, so I transferred to OCHS...that is where I met most of you...my graduating class should have been 1970 and that is why I have so many friends of you who were in that class at OCHS,...however, transferring back to a high school in Alabama cost me some needed credits which I lost when I returned to Baker High School in Columbus during my Sophomore and Junior years, which put me graduating in 1971. I returned to Watkinsville and re-entered OCHS and attended only morning classes...as I only needed 3 courses to graduate. So, I wound up graduating with my other high school family in 1971 at OCHS. Crazy weird road it has been...went to college out of high school....got drafted and went into the Army in 1971..spent the bulk of the 'war years' in Okinawa and Thailand...some infrequent trips into Vietnam due to my TDY status with the Army's ASA unit...but the bulk of my time was in the medical field..learned how to parachute....I got out in December 1974 from Ft.
