Doug's Story
When I left high school, I worked at a cabinetshop in Novi, and went to Oakland Com college at night. I ended up moving down to Ft. Lauderdale, and getting married about a year later. I started my own furniture and kitchen company down here 23 years ago (Dougramsay.com), and about 15 years ago I went back to my biggest passion I had in my teens (playing music in a band). My Wife Kelly and I adopted a beautiful little girl when she was 6. She just turned 21. We've just recently become "Empty-nesters". Kelly and I just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. until about 4 years ago, and Have been singing in a corporate band that has taken me to places like Cabos San Lucas and Puerto Rico, and I sing at my home church for the past 12+ years. I'm now on staff part-time at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale.
