Doug's Story
Life
After leaving SHS, I spent 4 yrs in the booming metropolis of Waco at Baylor University where I spent more time in church than in class. After graduating, I moved back to Houston to work in the field of IT training. Somewhere over the next 5 years, I ended up finally reconciling a lifelong dilemma I had with my spirituality and sexuality. In 1995, my partner and I started a journey together that we will celebrate 10 years of in June.

nd one month later was asked by a global training company to open their first US office in Austin. Now almost 6 years later, I'm CEO for Insights Learning & Development's North American operations and enjoying it more than ever.
I'm also continuing my journey of discovery around spirituality and sexuality and have begun writing a book. Dr. Luck would have been so shocked!! We have 3 Toy Fox Terriers, 3 generations of girls, that are the love of our lives. I travel a lot with my job, so I really enjoy being at home.
My folks and my sister's family still live in Sharpstown and I get back quite often.
