Douglas's Story
I graduated from Tufts University in 1972 with a degree in English. I married in 1974. In 1979, I got my RN and joined the Peace Corps, spending two years in Guatemala. From 1982-1985, I worked at St. Vincent´s Hospital in New York and got a Masters in Public Health from Columbia University. From 1985-2001, I worked for CARE In...Expand for more
ternational, the relief and development NGO, managing water and sanitation, primary health care, and emergency food aid programs in Belize, Ecuador and Haiti respectively. I left CARE in 2001. Since 2004, I´ve been living in London, UK, working at The Princess Grace Hospital on an orthopedic surgical ward. I got remarried in 2008.
