I got out of the army in 1981, and bought my own truck, over time increased to 4 trucks and ran myself ragged and in debt. In 1988 I liquidated the buisness and drove for other people, it took almost 3 years to pay off debt, in the army I was a truck driver. The way I saw it trucking took away 13 years of my life and I watched about 2 million dollars go through my fingers, and 2 relationships fall apart. Well back to square 1, my sister talked me into cutting trees for work so I figured not much income from it but I'll do it until I can find a real job, I always liked working outside and climbing and cutting trees, so what the heck. 17 years later I'm still cutting trees and to date have climbed, trimmed or removed over 20,000 trees and I will probably retire in the next 2 years with plenty to live on, who would have thought, money does grow on trees. Maybe after I retire I'll get a real job like being a Walmart greeter, that would be fun, I have 65 acres in West Virginia and thats where I'm moving I hope in the next 2 years, I have all my customers to t...Expand for more
