Douglas's Story
Life
Past:
Moved away from Reno in 1987 & went to Santa Monica to "seek my fortune". Enrolled in SMC & opened up a carpet cleaning business. Started flying again & got my flight ratings in small planes. Left Santa Monica in 1997 and moved to Vegas to be closer to my son. Gave up the biz & got my first flying job doing air tours around the Grand Canyon.
Present:
My son, Daniel, 11, is my inspir...Expand for more
ation. I love being a dad. Single, but make it work. Great job, office at 30,000 ft. - airline Captain. Fly 14 flights a week all over the US & Canada & still get home in time to pick up Daniel from school. Plenty of time off with the job I'm able to do the things and go places I've always dreamed about. I also enjoy being home on my days off too. If you remember me, please drop me a line. Doug
