Douglas's Story
Life
Dr. Schwan graduated early from Sylvania High school and attended the University of Toledo from 1976 through 1979 graduating with a Bachelors degree in Science. From there he was accepted into Palmer college of Chiropractic in Davenport Iowa graduating with a doctoral degree in 1983. He then returned to Toledo and established a private practice.
Dr. Schwan has completed advanced training in Orthopedics and has enjoyed a large and successful practice for over 25 years. He has published several textbooks in his field and several outside his field dealing with varied topics including computer technology, Sports injury management and fiction.

r large Entrepreneur groups. He has been involved in numerous start-up businesses including; a Travel agency, a retail computer store, a mail order software company, a Publishing house as well as an advertising firm.
Dr. Schwan is currently CEO of Schwan Enterprises, an Antique firearm company that specializes in wholesale procurement of Firearms for collectors and gun shops.
Currently Dr. Douglas Schwan has reduced his practice load and he and his lovely wife of 20 years, Linda, spend their time divided between a home outside Indianapolis, Indiana and one in Toledo, Ohio. He continues to write articles for journals and publications as well as being a contributing writer for such popular magazines as FLYING and SCUBA DIVING.
