Douglas's Story
Well let's see this is my capsule history: I was the odd, shy unpopular kid in school (Cubberley elementary, Marshall junior, Milliken high, all in Long Beach CA) turned out I was gay, how bout that. Dropped out of school after 11th grade so didn't graduate with my class at Milliken but went back a year later and got my diploma at Wilson. Moved to San Diego around 1980, live there for 10 years, then moved to Palm Springs CA and lived there for maybe 7 years then moved up to Seattle where ...Expand for more
I have been for 15 years. Seems like too many years, maybe I got stuck in a time warp somewhere along the way. I worked in the Auto industry for about 30 years and finally got sick of it, now I am an insurance agent working for Aflac (AFLAAAAC!!!) Have a wonderful partner past ten years, registered in the State of WA and hopefully will be recognized by the feds at some point but who knows...would be nice before I croak.
