Life Update: September 1, 2009
We are now returned to CHINA my home over the past 12 of 18 years.
Ivy and I are feeling older, perhaps it has been my diabedies and her osteoporosis that affects ladies over 50..I have accepted a Professorship at Shantou University Business School, First MBA Program professor in this Mr. Li Jia Cheng Founder's University , as the World's Richest man at esti,ated 84 Billion doubles Bill Gates of Microsoft fame (Seattle-BELLEVUE AREA...aNYWAY BEING IN sOUTH cHINA FOR THE 3RD TIME..PREVIOUSLY SHANGHAI (1997), ZHANGZHONG(2006).
2008 WAS NOT A GOOD YEAR FINANCIALY AND AM SO GRATEFUL TO IVY AND THE LORD JESUS CHRIST FOR THE HEALTH AND FUTURE GIFT OF LIFE!!

Am taking a new post in Dubai on 9.1.07 at EMIRATES AVIATION COLLEGE as Visiting Lecturer in the Air Transport Management section. Just returned from 3 weeks in Taiwan. what a narrow minded political world. Major identity crisis for people their due to Pres, Chen Shri Bian. They cannot decide that they are Chinese or Taiwanese...
Prior to that was in Extreme South East China-Zhanjiang City (Eastern portion of Guangdong Province. Vacationed May 1st on Hainan Island ( called the Hawaii of ASIA) Not true. SANYA city in the south tip of the island has some new developments. If you lovre coconut products like I do-you will enjoy the taste treats plus the Tropical Fruits everywhere.
Oh yes, became a first time grandfather June 2nd. Am experiencingthe 3rd month of grandparentingbeginning with daughter Sophia Qian and her husband Keoni-who are enjoying the thrills of parenting in Honolulu..He is in the US Coast Guard. Our grandson is named: Noah Halikika Kahikina Qian Akaka-Reis and with 6/10 Chinese, 1/6 Cherokee-French,2/6 Hawaiian,1/6 German so he is a POI son (mixed up plenty nationality).
